Teacher Assistant
Work site: Family Development Center, Stevens Point, WI
Start Date: As soon as possible
Starting Pay: $16.99-$18.72 per hour, depending on experience
Status: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, part year

Duties: In a Head Start classroom working with 3-year-olds. You would be responsible for assisting the Classroom Manager in preparing and conducting lesson plans which provide a developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum, utilizing developmentally appropriate practices as outlined in the Program’s philosophy and Creative Curriculum.
Minimum Qualifications:

Two - year Associate Degree in Child Care and Development through a technical college and one year of classroom experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5.

Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or a Registry Level of 6 or greater and two years of experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5.
Must provide a copy of unofficial transcripts or certificate from the Registry or class.
Must be able to work effectively in multi-cultural situations.?
