We begin with a world premiere by acclaimed violinist and composer and Stevens Point native Lorre Lynn Trytten, whose evocative new work promises to captivate with its emotional depth and lyrical beauty. Adding to the evening’s impact, we welcome another hometown luminary, Robert Heitzinger, to the stage. With his commanding presence and rich voice, Heitzinger will narrate Aaron Copland’s iconic “Lincoln Portrait”—a stirring tribute to the enduring legacy of Abraham Lincoln, blending spoken word with Copland’s majestic orchestration.
